The end of Federer?

Age catches up with everyone. Roger Federer is no different. He used to be as swift as a feather, the tennis racquet was an extension of his hand and the Wimbledon trophy seemed like his birthright.

Not anymore. He just complained about having a bad attitude while playing, his knee recently went through a surgery and his body is 39 years old. For an athlete, that’s a long time.

Even if it is the end, the journey was beautiful. We loved watching him dance on the court. We loved watching him win. He was always so humble, so graceful and so talented. A real role model.

My limited knowledge of tennis tells me that the upcoming Wimbledon could be his last. If it is so, I would like to send out a Thank You in the universe and hope that the energy reaches him.

Floating With The Wind

In this blog, I try to capture my reactions to the changing currents of my time on this planet. I’ll be honest, I’ll be raw and I’ll try and be entertaining.
